- Mark separation point (area N), dimension g = approx. 30 mm and cut with body saw (area N).
- Mark separation point (area P), dimension h = approx. 220 mm and cut with body saw (area P).
Do not damage plate located underneath when sawing.
- Expose weld spots and mill off using a spot weld cutter (area O).
- Remove section.
Use separated section for window solution.
- Mark separation point (area Q), Dimension i = 110 mm and cut with body saw (area Q).
- Remove section.
Use separated section for window solution.
- Mark separation point (area R), Dimension j = 110 mm and cut with body saw (area R).
- Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
