	Remove/install
	Risk of death.  Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.	Align the vehicle between the pillars of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lift mounting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Press parking brake pedal with a foot force of ≈ 170 N	If the parking brake pedal can be depressed by more than 5 notches: Carry out steps 2 to 6
2.1	Fold down rear seat cushion
		Models 203.2/7/0, 209.3 with through-loading facility 287a	AR91.12-P-1020P
2.2	Remove rear seat cushion
		Model 203.0 except through-loading facility code 287a	AR91.12-P-1020PC
3	Remove cover (1)
4	Correct lengthening of parking brake cables (85, 86)	To do this, tighten nut (89) two revolutions and check parking brake pedal travel again. If necessary tighten nut (89) again until the parking brake pedal can be depressed by 5 notches when operated with a foot force of ≈ 170 N.
5	Check that the rear wheels can turn freely
6	Install in the reverse order
