Calling up range
On the multifunction steering wheel the range can be called up in the first function of the multifunction display using the system selection button (S110s3)(A1p13).
To determine the range the trip computer of the instrument cluster (A1) needs the fill level in the fuel tank.
The fuel level sensor, left half of tank (B4/1) and the fuel level sensor, right half of tank (B4/2) are read in by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the appropriate message placed on the interior CAN.
