Remove/install bulbs of headlamp unit - AR82.10-P-1201QB

	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by high voltage levels present at xenon headlamps. Risk of explosion/fire hazard  due to highly flammable substances in the area of damaged xenon bulbs Risk of injury  due to UV light, hot components on xenon headlamps and glass splinters when xenon bulbs burst Risk of poisoning  caused by inhalation of mercury vapors and by toxic salts and mercury compounds being ingested or coming into contact with skin	Do not come into contact with parts that are under high voltage. Persons with active electronic implants  (e.g. heart pacemakers) must never work on xenon headlamps. Switch off entire lighting system. Wear insulated safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area.	AS82.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit
2	Open engine hood and secure against falling down		AR88.40-P-1000Q
3	Turn housing cover (low beam) (1) from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to left and remove	Installation:  Ensure that housing cover (low beam) (1) is properly seated.
4	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2/E2n2)
5	Turn xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2/E2n2) to the left and carefully pull out with left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2)	Left/right low beam (E1e2/E2e2) and xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2/E2n2) can only be replaced together.
6	Remove air pump Vehicles with code P98 Black Series for removal of left headlamp	Vehicles with code P98 Black Series for removal of left headlamp	AR14.30-P-7251QBS
7	Turn housing cover (high beam, standing and parking lights) (2) from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to left and remove	Installation:  Ensure the housing cover (high beam, standing and parking lights) (2) is seated correctly.
8	Undo bolts (4) for socket of left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1)
9	Turn lamp socket of left/right high beam (E1e1/E2e1) simultaneously to the left and remove
10	Pull out lamp socket (standing and parking lights) (5) with left/right standing and parking lights (E1e3/E2e3)
11	Turn lamp bayonet ring (6) of turn signal light from left/right front lamp unit (E1/E2) to the left and pull out with left/right turn signal light (E1e5/E2e5)
12	Remove bulb	Installation:  Do not touch the glass bulbs with bare hands. Use a soft cloth free of grease and pay attention to correct installation position. Otherwise, the deposits that develop can reduce the light output of the reflector.
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Perform a function test
