Install and weld in rear end - AR64.20-P-1020-03CW

  1. Install rear end (1), trunk lid, taillamps and rubber seal and fit.
  2. Check gaps using SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge and adjust.
  3. Fasten rear end (1) using COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  4. Remove trunk lid, taillamps and rubber seal.
  5. Drill rivet holes in rear end (1) using dia. 6.5 mm bit (areas A and B).
  6. Remove rear end (1).

  7. Deburr rivet holes on rear end (1) on both sides.
  8. Apply zinc dust paint to insides of riveted joints.
  9. Install rear end (1), fit and fasten using COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers and COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fasteners.
  10. Rivet rear end (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivets, dia. 6.4 x 14 (areas A1 and B1 ).
  11. Position sheet metal lugs (arrows) in connecting area of rear fender on rear end (1).
  12. Rear end (1) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas C, D, E, F, G and H).

  13. Rear end (1) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas I, J, K, L, M and N).
