	Software error in ESP control unit. A software error in the ESP control unit may cause a loss of the codings for the speed-sensitive power steering and/or the tire pressure loss warning. These special equipment items can no longer be coded using STAR DIAGNOSIS. Speed-sensitive power steering is not available (steering sluggish at low speeds). On vehicles with tire pressure loss warning, the message "Tire pressure monitoring inactive" may appear in the instrument cluster display. In this state activation is not possible using the multifunction steering wheel (status message: Tire pressure monitoring inactive). In the ESP control unit, the fault code C 1600 may be recorded.	Remove/install/replace ESP control unit and code as required for installed special equipment.	AR42.45-P-0820P
