	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood and move to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000Q
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the vehicle lift	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
2	Install adapters on vehicle lift support points		Fig 5
3	Remove bolts (5)
4	Remove interior trim from entrance		Fig 4
5	Remove cover rail from entrance		Fig 4
6	Remove front fender liner		AR88.10-P-1300P
7.1	Remove bolts (13) from bumper (12)	Vehicles with code P98 Black Series
7.2	Remove bolt (6)	Vehicles without code P98 Black Series
8	Pivot retaining rail (7) toward inside	Vehicles without code P98 Black Series Installation:  Ensure that the pin on the retaining rail (7) is seated correctly.
9	Pull retaining rail (7) toward rear and remove	Vehicles without code P98 Black Series
10	Remove bolts (10) on underfloor paneling along longitudinal member paneling (3)
11	Remove bolts (10) from expansion clips on longitudinal member paneling (3)	Front six bolts (10).
12	Pull out expansion clips
13	Unclip longitudinal member panel (3)	Do not damage longitudinal member panel (3). Unclip longitudinal member panel (3) in area of front fender (1) until nuts (4) are accessible.	Fig 4
14	Remove nuts (4) on front fender (1)
15	Remove front fender (1)	Disconnect front fender (1) from bumper by slightly pulling in area of arresting lug (11).
16	Install in the reverse order
	Replace front fender
17	Unclip cover (2)
18	Remove plastic cover (8)	Vehicles without code P98 Black Series
19	Glue seal (9) to new part	Vehicles without code P98 Black Series	*BR00.45-Z-1003-02A
