	Adjust
	Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or pinched when Remove/install or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid and sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

3	Remove bolts (1) from engine hood upper sections (2)
4	Loosen bolts (3) at hood hinge (4)

7	Place engine hood on left stop buffer (5) and right stop buffer (6)

11	Check whether engine hood catch catches properly by closing engine hood and pulling upward with a jerk.	Engine hood must fall automatically into the engine hood catch from a height of 100 - 130 mm (measured above fender tip) and lock.
12	Release engine hood and ensure that safety hook catches on radiator crossmember	Influences on the locking system by grease, oil or the like must be avoided at all cost, otherwise the engine hood may open of its own accord.
