NOTE: Because of the design changes the additional turn signal lamps are no longer clipped into the mirror cover, but rather screwed in.

Remedy

A hole must be set in the mirror cover of the outside mirror to enable the additional turn signal lamp to be fastened in place.

For vehicles as from 29.3.04 this operation is no longer required, as these will be equipped with new mirror covers and additional turn signal lamps.
