Adjust front door crank window - AR72.10-P-1950N

	Setting
	The crank window can be adjusted with the door liner installed
1	Check adjustment of front door and adjust if necessary		AR72.10-P-0550N
2	Unscrew screw (3) and remove molding (2) toward rear. Remove adhesive strip above assembly openings in door paneling
3	Remove cover (7) (4 each) from bottom door panel (8)	Adjustment screws (6) as well as window lift mounting nuts (9) are accessible through openings in the bottom door panel (8).
4	Mark side window along shaft seal	Door and side window must be closed completely
5	Open door
6	Actuate door contact switch with plastic wedge
7	Check marking on closed side window when door is open	The marking difference should not be greater than 1.5 mm. In the event of higher deviation correct door.
8	Adjust upper end stop of crank window (1) with adjustment screws (6)	If the upper end stop is adjusted correctly the front glass edge is flush with the mirror triangle on the front door (arrows).
9	Loosen both nuts (9) until window guide rails can be moved		*BA72.10-P-1009-01E
10	Check the inclination and position of the crank window (1) in the longitudinal direction and correct if necessary; for this purpose close crank window (1) to 20 mm below sealing frame and loosen screws (4)	Loosen screws (4) from outside  by turning to right  . After the screws (4) are loosened the inclination  and the longitudinal direction  of the crank window can be corrected on the window lift rails. If the crank window (1) is adjusted correctly, the upper glass edge runs parallel to the sealing frame.	Fig 3

12	Adjust tension of crank window (1) with window lift guide rails	With the window lift guide rails it is possible to increase or decrease the tension  of the crank window on the sealing frame on the coupe roof. Adjust crank window so that the upper corner of the glass touches the sealing frame of the B-pillar with the door lock in the first arrest stage.
13	Tighten both nuts (9) on the window lift guide rails		*BA72.10-P-1009-01E
14	Close front door and check crank window for leakage and easy motion, if necessary repeat adjustment	It should be possible to pull out a paper strip pinched between the crank window and B-pillar sealing frame.
15	Install covers (7) (4 each)
16	Glue adhesive strip over assembly openings and install molding (2)	Check adhesive strip, replace if necessary.
17	Check gap and transition between crank window on front door and rear crank window in area of rear window stay and adjust		AR67.30-P-4200N
