Notes on D2B ring - AH82.70-P-0001-03MN
In this case the participating components in the D2B ring are the following:
- COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3).
- Sound amplifier (A2/13) for sound system (code 810).
- CD player with changer (in the trunk) (A2/6) for CD changer (6-disk) (code 819).
- Telephone interface (A34/4) for portable MB CTEL (code 854).

D2B telephone transmitter/receiver (A35/13) for standard MB telephone (code 853).
or
D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) for TELE AID (code 855).
- Voice control system control unit (A35/11) for voice control system (VCS) (code 813).
The information in the D2B ring flows in only one direction (arrows). The information enters the white insert (ws) in optical fiber modules M1 to M5 and reappears at the red insert (rt) at the next ring component.
The D2B ring can only operate as a closed circuit.
