Remove/install rear bumper - AR88.20-P-2200N

MODEL 215 with CODE (550) Trailer hitch except CODE (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts and rear apron trailer hitch with removable ball neck

	Remove
1	Remove trunk lining	Model 215.3. Rear wall paneling can remain in vehicle.	AR68.30-P-4600M
2.1	Disconnect emergency call system (TELEAID) replacement antenna connector (X23/17)	Only on TELE AID emergency call system (D2B) (code 347) or with TELE AID (code 855).
3.1	Disconnect PTS connector, rear bumper (X35/28)	Only on Parktronic system (PTS) (code 220a).
4	Unscrew bolts (5).	On left and right.
5	Push fender liner (7) to the side and unscrew bolts (6)	On left and right.
6	Unscrew nut (14)	On left and right.
7	Remove covers (15) and loosen nuts (9) 2 to 3 turns	On left and right.
8	Remove bumper (1)
9	Unscrew bolts (3) and remove bumper bracket (2) from bumper (1)
	Install
10	Fit bumper bracket (2) in bumper (1) and screw in bolts (3)	Bolt, bumper to bumper reinforcement	*BA31.11-P-1004-01A
11	Install bumper (1), slide mount (1a) on left and right into guides (8)
12	Adjust bumper (1) in longitudinal direction	Slide bumper (1) onto collar bolts (10) until edge of bumper (13) is flush with edge of rear fender
13	Adjust height of bumper (1)	The height of the bumper can be adjusted by turning the collar bolt (10)
14	Tighten nuts (9) and install covers (15)	On left and right.
		Nut, bumper reinforcement to trailer hitch.	*BA31.11-P-1005-01A
15	Screw on nut (14)	On left and right.
16	Screw in bolts (5)	On left and right.
17	Screw in bolts (6) and install fender liner (7)	On left and right.
18.1	Connect rear bumper PTS connector (X35/28)	Only on Parktronic system (PTS) (code 220a).
19.1	Connect emergency call system (TELEAID) replacement antenna connector (X23/17)	Only on TELE AID emergency call system (D2B) (code 347) or with TELE AID (code 855).
20	Install trunk linings	Model 215.3.	AR68.30-P-4600M
