Notes on retrofitting telephone - AH82.70-P-0001-04C

Model 215, 220 as of 1.7.00 up to 30.6.01 

The vehicles are always equipped for conventionally connected telephones supplied by Mercedes-Benz accessories department. Operation with the multi-function steering wheel is then not  possible.

On vehicle models 215 and 220 with multi-function steering wheel (telephone operation via buttons on steering wheel) it is recommended to retrofit a telephone with D2B fiber optic cable technology.

A keypad is not present on Audio 10 radio. It is therefore not possible to operate the telephone with the radio (see Owner's Manual).
