	Testing
	Before any test on the vehicle, check whether a new version of diaphragm travel sensor and a new BAS control module are fitted
1	Check marking of diaphragm travel sensor	New component is marked with a white, yellow or blue "D" (Fig. 1). Marking may be on opposite side.
2	Check part no. of BAS control module	The part no. of the installed control module should be compared with part no. in the table "Parts Ordering Note". Part no. suffix "/05" is not present on the housing and in HHT readout.
	Removing, installing
3	Ignition off
4.1	Remove diaphragm travel sensor, install	Brake booster should be pressureless. Use marking tool or welding wire for removing circlip.	AR42.31-P-6002A
	Notes on brake booster	Model 129, 140, 170, 202, 208, 210	AH43.20-P-0001-01A
5.1	Remove BAS control module, install	Part no. see Parts Ordering Note.	AR42.31-P-6001A
6	Connect HHT	Model 129, 140, 170: HHT module 1 status 12/97 Model 202, 208, 210 (except 210.00/ 01): HHT module 2 status 12/97 Model 210.00/ 01  : HHT module 1+2 status 09/97-2 or 03/98
7.1	Calibrate BAS control module to instrument cluster with HHT	Only models on which BAS control module was deactivated.	SM42.31-P-0001-01A
8	Read fault memory of traction systems and erase
9	Read fault memory of BAS system and erase
10	Disconnect HHT
11	Start engine	All indicator lights should go out.
