Starting point: Vario roof not actuated in closed position. Ignition: ON

Pushing the Vario roof switch to the rear actuates the hydraulic unit via the combination control module.

The roof opening sequence is subdivided into 5 steps, steps 4 and 5 being accomplished irrespective of the vehicle speed.

Step 1: Unlock Vario roof.

Unlock and open trunk lid

Roll down rear power windows (for t = 3 s)

Roll down front power windows (switch-off with lock-up current)

Step 2: Open Vario roof

Roll down front power windows (switch-off with lock-up current)

Step 3: Lock Vario roof

Close and lock trunk lid

Step 4: Continue locking (for t = 2 s)

Roll rear power windows down (for t = 2 s)

Step 5: Roll front power windows up
