| 1 | Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" | On vehicles with (code 889), Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m). | |

| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) on position sensor (B28/9 or B28/10) | ||
| 3 | Disconnect the electrical connector (1) at the left and right intake manifold tumble flap position sensor (B28/9, B28/10) | ||

| 5 | Remove left and right intake manifold tumble flap position sensor (B28/9, B28/10) from intake manifold (3) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary |
