Bleeding Brake System (With Star Diagnosis Compact Diagnosis System)
- Connect brake bleeding unit following directions in operating manual supplied by manufacturer. Bleeding pressure should be set at 29 psi (2 bar). See Fig 1 .
- Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS compact diagnosis system. See Fig 2 .
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Carry out bleeding operation using STAR DIAGNOSIS compact diagnosis system according to menus on display. The warning buzzer in the instrument cluster is automatically deactivated by STAR DIAGNOSIS compact diagnosis system when performing diagnosis on Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC). The warning buzzer is automatically activated when SBC diagnosis is completed.
- Disconnect brake bleeding unit, and tighten bleed screws.
- Lower vehicle.
- Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS compact diagnosis system.
WARNING:
Extreme high pressure, secure bleed hose with electrohydraulic brake adaptor to prevent it from slipping off bleed screw. See Fig 3
