The air pump relay is plugged into the front driver fuse and relay module, which is located at the rear left in the engine compartment.

The air pump relay is plugged into the right driver fuse and relay module, which is located at the rear right in the engine compartment.

If the air pump relay is actuated by the ME control unit (N3/10) with a ground signal circuit 86, the air pump relay closes its power contact.

With the power contact closes, the electrical air pump (M33) is connected via circuit 87 to circuit 30 (B+).
