MODELS 203, 210, 220 up to 31.8.03 with CODE (855) TELE AID with CODE (930) Taxi emergency call for a TELE AID emergency call 

MODELS 208.3, 215 up to 31.8.03 with CODE (855) TELE AID for a TELE AID emergency call 

A telediagnosis call only be triggered manually

• using the SOS push-button (S93/3) on the telephone handset (A34) if it is pressed for more than 2 seconds.

An emergency telegram is then generated in the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) and is transmitted via radio to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC).

Emergency call priority 

If an emergency call with a higher priority is already active when an emergency call is triggered, this call is terminated. The emergency call with the lower priority is not started.

If an emergency call with a lower priority is already active when triggering takes place, this is aborted and the emergency call with higher priority placed instead.

Highest priority:

1. Automatic emergency call
2. Manual taxi emergency call with S62/6 (only with code 930, taxi emergency call)
3. Manual emergency call with SOS push-button (S93/3)
4. Telediagnosis call with corresponding button on telephone handset (A34)

   Lowest priority

5. Information call via relevant menu on Telephone handset (A34)
