	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the pillars of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform mounting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. 1	Disconnect battery ground cable	Turn key in electronic ignition switch EIS into position "0". Key cannot be withdrawn. Vehicle with Keyless Go code 889: Switch off engine, remove Keyless Go cards from the vehicle and keep outside the range of the transmitter. Installation:  After connecting, read out diagnostic trouble code memory, set time at instrument cluster, encode radio, normalize power windows and activate steering angle sensor. 2	Remove engine compartment paneling below radiator on outer right		AR61.20-P-1105M
3	Remove right wheel
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050Z
4	Remove right inner fender		AR88.10-P-1300M
5	Drain engine oil and collect	Installation:  Replace sealing ring of the oil drain screw.
		Oil drain plug to oil pan	*BA01.45-P-1003-01B
			*BF18.00-P-1001-01H
6	Unscrew oil lines to oil cooler (1)	Oil line to oil cooler	*BA18.30-P-1003-01B
7	Separate electrical connection from fan (2) of oil cooler (1)	Separate tie strap of electrical connection.
8	Unscrew bolts (3) of bracket (4)
9	Remove oil cooler (1) with bracket (4)
10	Unbolt fan (2) from oil cooler (1)
11	Remove oil cooler (1)	Open the bracket (4).
12	Pull filter (1) out of bracket (4)	Installation:  Check rubber rings for damage.
		Installation:  Moisten rubber rings slightly with sliding compound.

13	Install in the reverse order
14	Read out fault memory and erase	Stored faults which may be caused by removal, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A

15	Run engine and inspect for leaks
16	Check engine oil level	Top up ATF if necessary.	AR18.00-P-3035-01DA
