	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between pillars of lifting platform and position four support plates at lifting platform mounting points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of explosion caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and safety glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground cable	Turn key in electronic ignition switch EIS into position "0". Key cannot be withdrawn. Vehicle with Keyless Go code 889: Switch off engine, remove Keyless-Go cards from the vehicle and store outside of transmitter range Installation: After connecting, read out diagnostic trouble code memory, set time at instrument cluster, encode radio, normalize power windows and activate steering angle sensor. 3	Remove right wheel
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050Z

6	Unclip relay for engine cooler fan from bracket and suspend to one side
7	Unscrew oil lines to oil cooler (1)		*BA18.30-P-1003-01B
8	Unscrew bolts (3) and nuts (2) from bracket (4)		*BA18.30-P-1008-01B
			*BA18.30-P-1009-01B
9	Disconnect electrical connection from fan (5) of oil cooler (1)	Disconnect tie strap of electrical connection.
10	Remove oil cooler (1) with bracket (4)
11	Unscrew bolts (6) and open bracket (4)		*BA18.30-P-1006-01B
12	Pull filter (1) out of bracket (4)	Installation: Check rubber rings for damage. Installation: Moisten rubber rings slightly with antifriction agent.

13	Unscrew fan (5) from oil cooler (1)		*BA18.30-P-1005-01B
14	Install in the reverse order
15	Read out diagnostic trouble code memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 16	Check for leaks with engine running
