3.1 Unplug plug (1) of oil dipstick guide tube (2).
For vehicles with stop plug (1).
3.2 Pull oil dipstick (3) out of oil dipstick guide tube (2).
For vehicles with an oil dipstick (3).

4 Lead the dipstick into the oil dipstick guide tube (2) until its tip is in the engine oil pan.
The collar of the dipstick grip end does not sit on the oil dipstick guide tube (2).

Leave there for at least a 3 seconds dwell time.

Do not bend the dipstick . The dipstick must be pushed and guided according to the form of the oil dipstick guide tube (2).
5 Read off engine oil level on the dipstick .
6 Establish the oil replenishment quantity from the oil level table.
7 Adjust engine oil level correctly, if required.
8.1 Place plug (1) onto oil dipstick guide tube (2).
For vehicles with stop plug (1).
8.2 Insert oil dipstick (3) into the oil dipstick guide tube (2).
For vehicles with an oil dipstick (3).
