Installing wiring harness of taxi frame-floor system - AN82.25-P-1000-01M

Connection schematic, frame floor wiring harness for taxi 

  1. Route frame floor wiring harness (1) as shown in figure along present wires in vehicle.

  2. Route brown (br) wire from frame floor wiring harness (1) in left wiring duct to left rear seat ground (W17/1) and connect.

  3. Route tie-out from wiring harness (1) with emergency alarm system activate button (S62/6) as shown in figure in driver's footwell.
  4. Route green/white (gn/ws) lead from driver's footwell into left front fuse and relay box.

  5. Disconnect 30-pin connector (30) from traction systems control module (N47) and cut off cable strap for holding wires.
  6. Expose green/white (gn/ws) wire from chamber 1.

    IMPORTANT If chamber 1 is not used (green/white wire not present) equip green/white (gn/ws) wire from radio with contact spring and insert into chamber 1 of 30-pin connector (30).

  7. Solder green/white (gn/ws) wire from radio to exposed green/white (gn/ws) wire from traction systems control module (N47) using solder connector.
  8. Tie wires from 30-pin connector (30) to connector housing with new cable strap and reconnect connector.

  9. Route tie-out from wiring harness (1) to double-coil loudspeaker (H4/19) with auxiliary tool (H), (e.g. vacuum hose) from vehicle interior into door.

    IMPORTANT Carefully remove vapor seal from A-pillar and bottom previously and later reinsert into A-pillar.

  10. Route connector for left front double-coil loudspeaker (H4/19x1) into cutout behind door control module.
  11. Install and connect double-coil loudspeaker (H4/19).

    IMPORTANT The tweeter is also connected to the double-coil loudspeaker. Install it in the mirror triangle.

  12. Route tie-out from frame floor wiring harness (1) as shown in figure in passenger footwell and fasten in wiring duct with cable strap.

    X30/4 Right CAN voltage distributor connector

  13. Release right CAN voltage distributor (X30/4) and connect 2-pin CAN connector from frame floor wiring harness (1). Relock connector.
  14. Solder shield conductor to right CAN voltage distributor screening connector sleeve (Z73) and insulate.

  15. Route tie-out from frame floor wiring harness (1) from cockpit/FSS connector (X18) as shown in figure in right wiring duct.

  16. Route tie-out to rear fuse box (F4) in wiring duct below right rear seat.
  17. Connect green plug-in fuse socket (59) as shown in figure corresponding to green marking to plug-in location 59 and install 30 ampere fuse (arrow).

  18. Route tie-out from frame floor wiring harness (1) from front seat into area of C-pillar along present lines.
  19. Route the two connectors for the taximeter separation point (X41/6) as shown in figure and fasten with cable straps.
  20. Route tie-out to radio antenna (A2/49a3) as shown in figure along C-pillar above rear window and fasten with strips of tape (arrows).

    IMPORTANT Route along present lines behind  window airbag.

  21. Route tie-out from frame floor wiring harness (1) into trunk.

    N26/9 Special vehicle multifunction control module (SVMCM) 

    S62/5 Emergency alarm system cancel button

  22. Drill 22 mm dia. hole in right trunk paneling as shown in figure.

    Insert emergency alarm system cancel button (S62/5) from inside and screw down with mounting nut.

    IMPORTANT When installing the trunk paneling it is necessary to connect the emergency alarm system cancel button (S62/5).

  23. Cut out contour (shaded area) for emergency alarm system activate button (S62/6) in left knee guard as shown in figure.

    IMPORTANT When installing knee guard push activate button through hole cut out from behind, turn 90° and screw onto specified mounting holes (arrows) with standard sheet metal screws.
