Installing two-way radio override - AN82.71-P-1000-03M

  1. Route two-way radio override wiring harness (6) as shown in figure along present wiring harnesses in vehicle and fasten with cable straps.

  2. Route two-way radio override wiring harness (6) as shown in figure from center console to passenger footwell.
  3. Route yellow (ge) lead from two-way radio override wiring harness (6) to radio shaft and insert in chamber 3 of radio connector (A).
  4. Route tie-out to two-way radio selector switch (S34) from two-way radio override wiring harness (6) as shown in figure around shift mechanism.
  5. Route brown (br) ground lead and yellow cockpit wiring harness/frame floor system connector (X18) in passenger footwell on right along present leads.
  6. Expose loop made in brown ground lead from frame floor system wiring harness (1) in passenger footwell and solder on brown ground lead from two-way radio override wiring harness (6) resulting in circuit 31 connector sleeve (Z6/30).

  7. Route tie-out to microphone separation point (X58/3) from two-way radio override wiring harness (6) in wiring duct to right rear seat and connect.

  8. Route gray/blue (gr/bl) lead to special vehicle multifunction control module (SVMCM) (N26/9) on into right side of trunk.
  9. Open connector (N26/9) and insert gray/blue (gr/bl) wire into chamber 7.
  10. Reclose connector.
