Retrofitting wiring harness of Linguatronic voice control system - AN82.70-P-0004-01CM

Model 220 

1. Modify voice control system wiring harness (1) as shown in figure.

2. Expose telephone wiring harness at bottom of control module plate below right rear seat (arrow) and disconnect connector of microphone separation point (X58/3).
3. Install the two connectors of the voice control system wiring harness (1) to microphone separation point (X58/3) standard connector.

4. Separate telephone wiring harness (arrow) and expose red/black (rt/sw) and blue/black (bl/sw) leads.
5. Solder red/black (rt/sw) lead for voice control system wiring harness (1) to red/black (rt/sw) lead for telephone wiring harness.
6. Solder blue/black (bl/sw) lead of voice control system wiring harness (1) to blue/black (bl/sw) lead of telephone wiring harness.

7. Connect brown (br) lead of voice control system wiring harness (1) to ground shielding for CAN and SAM in rear (W50/2).

When installing the control module plate ensure not the pinch the retrofitted fiber optic cable (arrow). Always observe installation guidelines for fiber optic cables!
