Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels.
  2. NOTE: Seal off line connections with plugs. Brake fluid reservoir must not drain completely.
  3. Unscrew brake line (5) from brake hose (51) and seal off openings. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove bracket and electrical cables for wear indicator/RPM sensor from brake hose.
  5. Remove banjo bolt (51b) from brake caliper. Pull out brake hose through grommet at bracket.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Replace banjo bolt seals. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
