	Removing
	Tires - General information		AH40.10-P-1020-01D
1	Remove valve element from valve (43g)
2	Remove wheel balance weights (43a)
3	Pry off the tire on the inside and outside over the safety hump of the disc wheel.	Fit pressing-off blade of tire mounting device only at tire bead and not at tire side wall otherwise body will be damaged. Tire mounting device for passenger cars with Rodgard run flat system gotis://F_40.1_01.0
4	Clamp disc wheel on the tire mounting device	Clamp disk wheel such that outer side faces upwards.
5	Coat rim flange and tire beads with mounting paste	Wide-tire mounting paste	*BR00.45-Z-1066-06A
6	Align mounting head relative to disk wheel	The vertical gap (X) and the horizontal gap (Y) each measure 2 mm.
7	Lever tire bead over mounting head and remove outer side of tire from disk wheel	Observe instructions provided by mounting device manufacturer.
8	Remove run-flat tire ring		AR40.10-P-1030-04A
	Spacers for removing/installing run-flat tire ring	Models 461, 463	WF58.50-P-4010-03A
9	Lever tire bead over mounting head and remove tire from disk wheel	Observe instructions provided by mounting device manufacturer.
10	Clean disk wheel at rim flange
11	Remove valve (43g)
	Checking
12	Checking condition of rim		AR40.10-P-1010-01A
	Install
13	Install new valve (43g)
14	Remove valve element from new valve (43g)
15	Coat rim flange and tire bead with mounting paste	Wide-tire mounting paste	*BR00.45-Z-1066-06A
16	Align mounting head relative to disk wheel	The vertical gap (X) and horizontal gap (Y) each measure 2 mm. Position the disk wheel such that the valve (43g) is approx. 10 cm in front of the mounting head (relative to the direction of rotation).
17	Place inner side of tire obliquely on the disk wheel and pull tire over the rim flange using the tire mounting device	Observe running direction of tires and instructions provided by mounting device manufacturer. 18	Install run-flat tire ring		AR40.10-P-1030-03A
	Spacers for removing/installing run-flat tire ring	Models 461, 463	WF58.50-P-4010-03A
		Rodgard special grease	*BR00.45-Z-1069-06A
19	Place outer side of tire obliquely on the disk wheel and pull tire over the rim flange using the tire mounting device
20	Align color marking on tire with valve (43g) on disk wheel
21	Remove disk wheel with tire from tire mounting device
22	Pump up tire without valve element to a maximum of 4 bar	If the tire does not slide evenly over the safety bead seats of the disk wheel, deflate tire again and recoat tire beads with mounting paste. The operation step must then be repeated again.

23	Screw valve element into valve (43g)
