Remove/install rear seat and rear seat backrest - AR91.12-P-1700G

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove caps (1)    
2 Disconnect left rear seat heater connector (X54/23) or right rear seat heater connector (X54/24) IMPORTANT Only in combination with code (H11) Rear bench seat heater.  
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by body parts being pinched or crushed when working on gas-filled struts under tension Only remove and install gas-filled struts when they are not under tension and when the components are properly secured. AS00.00-Z-0012-01A
3 Release rear pin (2) and remove IMPORTANTInstallation:  Push gas-filled shock absorber (5) together using assembly pliers (6) and hook into place.  
REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Assembly pliers for rear bench seat gas-filled strut   WF58.50-P-9112-01A
4 Release front pin (3)    
5 Remove front pin (3)    
6 Remove rear seat    
7 Remove seat console (4)    
8 Install in the reverse order
