	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove right rear wheelhouse cover
2	Inspect filling capacity in fuel tank	If fill level is above fuel tank neck (9), suction off fuel: ↓
		Empty / fill fuel tank	AR47.10-P-4001B
3	Release hose clamps (2)	Installation:  Replace hose clamps (2).
4	Detach hoses (3)	Installation:  Check hoses (3) and replace if necessary.
5	Detach hose (4)	Only on model 463.243/244/245/246/247/248/249/ 250/254/270/271
6	Detach fuel tank vent hoses (5) at fuel tank	Installation:  Check vent hoses (5) and replace if necessary.
7	Release hose clamps (7)
8	Detach connecting hose (8) from fuel tank neck (9)	Installation:  Ensure connecting hose (8) is correctly attached otherwise fuel vapors or fuel may escape. Installation:  Check connecting hose (8) and replace if necessary.
9	Seal opening at tank connector pipe (9)	To prevent dirt ingress.
10	Remove filler neck (6)	To do this, undo bolt (10), remove tank filler cap and push connecting hose (8) at filler neck (6) upwards.
11	Install in the reverse order
