Bleeding Procedure
CAUTION:
Before starting engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in brake system.
NOTE:
Letters and numbers in parenthesis correspond to letters and numbers in illustrations.
- Connect pressure bleeder. See Fig 1 . Bleeding pressure should be set at 29 psi (2 bar). Open bleed screw at brake caliper (1), and allow brake fluid to flow out until free of bubbles.
- Check fluid level, repeat bleeding operation at brake calipers in appropriate sequence. See BLEEDING SEQUENCE .
- Tighten bleed screw. Top off brake fluid.
