Bleeding Procedure

CAUTION: Before starting engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in brake system.
NOTE: Letters and numbers in parenthesis correspond to letters and numbers in illustrations.
  1. Connect pressure bleeder. See Fig 1 . Bleeding pressure should be set at 29 psi (2 bar). Open bleed screw at brake caliper (1), and allow brake fluid to flow out until free of bubbles.
  2. Check fluid level, repeat bleeding operation at brake calipers in appropriate sequence. See BLEEDING SEQUENCE  .
  3. Tighten bleed screw. Top off brake fluid.
