1 Activate service mode in Telematic Alarm Identification on Demand (emergency call system) (TELE AID) Model 463.243 /244 /245 /250 /309 /322/ 323 /332 /333 with code (ET2) TELE AID car telephone emergency call system,
Model 463.247 /248 /254 /270 up to production period 1.4.07 with code (ET2) TELE AID car telephone emergency call system

IMPORTANT Notes regarding the Tele-Aid emergency call system AH82.95-P-0001-01GA
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and goggles. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

2.2 Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" Model 463.306/ 336/ 346  
3 Remove bolts (3)    
4 Remove front tunnel paneling (1)    
5 Remove bolts (4)    
6 Pull cover below dashboard (2) downward IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure that air duct is seated properly on fitting, so that optimum air flow is not impeded  
7 Release data link connector (X11/4) and disconnect    
8 Disconnect connectors from STH radio remote control receiver (A6/1) Vehicles with code (H12) Auxiliary heater  
9 Disconnect connector from left front emergency call speaker (H4/46) Vehicles with code (ET2) TELE AID car telephone emergency call system  
10 Disconnect electrical connector from ambiance illumination Vehicles with code (FR1) Ambiance illumination  
11 Remove cover below dashboard (2) downward at an angle IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure that air duct is seated properly in guides.  
12 Install in the reverse order    
13 Deactivate service mode in TELE AID emergency call system Model 463.243 /244 /245 /250 /309 /322 /323 /332 /333 with code (ET2) TELE AID car telephone emergency call system,
Model 463.247 /248 /254 /270 up to production period 1.4.07 with code (ET2)
