Instructions for testing on the roller dynamometer 

The order in which the work is carried out must be adhered to in order to avoid damage to the transfer case.

Brake testing 

• The vehicle must be secured in order to prevent it from rolling away when the rear axle is being tested
• The parking brake must be applied when the front axle is being tested.
• The maximum testing time is 60 s per axle at a maximum test drum speed of 6 km/h.

If these values are exceeded:

• The propeller shaft to the relevant stationary axle must be disconnected from the transfer case at the flange.
• The transfer case lock must be engaged.
• Attention must be paid to the indicator lamp in the center console.

Performance test 

• The propeller shaft to the relevant stationary axle must be disconnected from the transfer case at the flange.
• The transfer case lock must be engaged, and attention must be paid to the indicator lamp in the center console.
