Remove run-flat tire ring - AR40.10-P-1030-04A

REFER TO SHOP-MADE TOOLS Spacers for removing/installing run-flat tire ring Models 461, 463 WF58.50-P-4010-03A
  1. Pry tire side wall off disk wheel.

    IMPORTANT Pry off tire side wall using spreader (1) only until connecting point of outer shells (6) is accessible.

  2. Remove anti-twist lock (2).

    IMPORTANT Check thread of anti-twist lock (2) and install new anti-twist lock (2) if necessary.

  3. Loosen clamping nut (3) using a suitable tool.

  4. Pry tire side wall off disk wheel at second connecting point of outer shells (6).

    IMPORTANT Pry off tire side wall using spreader (1) only until connecting point is accessible.

  5. Remove anti-twist lock (2).

    IMPORTANT Check thread of anti-twist lock (2) and install new anti-twist lock (2) if necessary.

  6. Loosen clamping nut (3) using a suitable tool.

  7. Unscrew bolt (5).
  8. Pry tire side wall off disk wheel at opposite connecting point of outer shells (6).

    IMPORTANT Pry off tire side wall using spreader (1) only until connecting point is accessible.

  9. Unscrew second bolt (5a).
  10. Remove spreader (1).

  11. Insert spacers (4) between tire and disk wheel.
  12. Remove outer shells (6).

    IMPORTANT Check thread in outer shells (6), install new outer shells (6) if necessary.

  13. Remove rotor (7).

  14. Clean outer shells (6) and rotor (7) thoroughly.
