	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Switch off wiper system, switch off ignition and remove ignition key	Doors and engine hood should be closed to move the windshield wipers to the non-actuated state. Wiper system may switch on independently when ignition is on due to rain sensor on windshield.
2	Remove instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1000GM
3	Mark installation position for wiper linkage (6) before removal
4	Pry wiper linkage (6) off of wiper crank (5)
5	Remove wiper arm	Installation:  Use new spring washers.	AR82.30-P-6100A
6	Unscrew nuts (1) from wiper shaft (7)		*BA82.30-P-1004-01B
7	Remove washers (3) and seals (4)	Installation:  Use new gaskets (4).
8	Pull wiper shafts (7) out of wiper bearing
9	Remove wiper linkage (6)
10	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
11	Check wiper blade park position	In the park position the wiper blades should not obstruct the driver's field of view.
12	Perform wiper system function check
