	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/ rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000T
2	Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover		AR01.20-P-5014-02C
		Bolt, cylinder head cover trim panel at cylinder head	*BA01.20-P-1002-01G
		Bolt, trim panel to charge air distribution pipe	*BA01.20-P-1003-01G
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
3	Drain coolant from radiator		AR20.00-P-1142HB
4	Remove left exhaust gas recirculation positioner (Y27/9)		AR14.20-P-7662T
5	Detach coolant hoses (1, 2) from the exhaust gas recirculation cooler (3)
6	Remove angled piece (4)	Installation:  on vehicles with USA version code 494a: secure ground line.

7	Remove screws (5)	Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation cooler to charge air distribution pipe	*BA14.20-P-1008-01C
8	Take out exhaust gas recirculation cooler	Installation:  Replace gasket and sealing ring.
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Inspect cooling system for leaks		AR20.00-P-1010HA
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Run engine and inspect for leaks
