17.10.05	Repair information for bolting of rear axle carrier's rubber mounts to frame floor assembly added	Caution, important note: The threads in the frame floor assembly must be recut and blown out, as any adhesive residue in a thread will prevent the bolt's necessary preload force from being achieved, despite having reached the specified torque and specified angle of rotation. If this is not observed, then the faulty bolt preload force will cause bending forces to act on the bolt, which could ultimately lead to bolt fracture.

Transmission jack, transmission platform, See GOTIS: http://gotis.aftersales.daimlerchrysler.com

Support rear axle center assembly (50) using transmission jack and transmission platform, and lash securely.
Undo bolts (1c) and bolts (1d) of rear axle carrier from frame floor assembly.
Installation: Recut thread in frame floor assembly and blow out.

Use new bolts.
Remove washers (1e).
Lower rear axle.
