The message "Service buffer full" appears on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1), depending on the vehicle load.
This means that no further data can be processed by the central gateway control unit (N93).
After 47 entries, the message can be reset with the control panel on the multifunction steering wheel. No further erasing can be carried out after 49 entries.
If the service memory is not read out, the corresponding data are not processed further. A correct calculation and display are not possible.
Read out service memory
The service memory can be read out using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
- Set up communication with the ASSYST PLUS system
- Select control unit adaptation
- Start function "Rearrange service buffer"
