82 208	center high-mounted stop lamp cutout (and edges of cutout) in trunk lid has been inaccurately stamped out.	1 Remove center high-mounted stop lamp.	AR82.10-P-5375T
	This cause the center high-mounted stop lamp to not sit deep enough into the trunk lid and therefore the seal does not have full contact.	This operation item covers, depending on the findings, replacement of the center highmounted stop lamp.
	All stamping machines have been modified as of January 2003.	2 Smooth edge of cutout with a file. Apply corrosion protection to edge.
		3 Install center high-mounted stop lamp.	AR82.10-P-5375T
		4 Check seal (water test).
	Cause 2:	Remedy 2:
	Center high-mounted stop lamp lens has been improperly bonded to housing.	1 Remove/install/replace center high-mounted stop lamp.	AR82.10-P-5375T
	Water penetration into center high- mounted stop lamp itself can lead to electrical failure of stop lamp. As of VIN 180,000, only parts with improved bonding are being installed.	Part number remains the same. No new Q status.
