Remove contacts from mini laminated contact coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-26A

Unfasten secondary release on version with slide 

  1. Using a suitable tool (1), move slider (2) in direction of arrow out of locked position of coupling (3).

    NOTES Do not push the tool in too far or the gasket behind the slider (2) may be damaged.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with lock tab 

  2. Insert suitable tool underneath locking tabs (1).
  3. Pry up the lock tabs (1) in direction shown by arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with retaining cap 

  4. Insert a suitable tool (1) between the retaining cap (3) and the clutch housing (2).
  5. Slide the retaining cap (3) against the detent resistance from the clutch housing (2) in direction shown by arrow.

    Unfasten secondary release on version with locking cap 

  6. Move the tabs on the locking cap (4) in direction of arrow.
  7. Remove locking cap (4) from coupling (5).

    Unpin female contacts from coupling 

  8. Insert release tool with SPECIAL TOOL MLK 1.2 bushing ejector from front side through opening of contact cavity of coupling housing (2) to end stop.

    IMPORTANT This step presses the spring shackle on the female contact (1) down into position.

  9. Press female contact (1) from coupling housing (2) using ejector on release tool with SPECIAL TOOL RK 1.2 bushing ejector against spring force of tool.
