Remove contacts from 2.5 round plug contact coupling - AR00.19-P-0120-15A

Unfasten secondary release on version with locking slider 

  1. Using a suitable tool (1), push the locking slide valve (2) out of the last detent in direction shown by arrow.

  2. Using a suitable tool (1), push the slide valve (2) out of the last detent in direction shown by arrow.

  3. Using a suitable tool (1), open the lock tab (2) in direction shown by arrow.

  4. Move contact fuse (1) into pre-locking position using a suitable tool.

    Unpin female contacts from coupling 

  5. Insert release tool with SPECIAL TOOL RK 2.5 ejector from front side into contact cavity of coupling (1).

    IMPORTANT In this step, the sleeve (4) of the tool compresses the spring shackles on the female contact (2).

  6. Press female contact (2) from its seat in housing using plunger (3) on release tool with SPECIAL TOOL RK 2.5 ejector against spring force of tool.

  7. Pull lightly on the corresponding line to remove the female contact (2) from the coupling (1).
