Operating the deployment device - AR91.60-P-0611-04A

DANGER Risk of injury.  Injuries may result when performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units. Store airbag unit with expulsion area on top, do not subject to temperatures above 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply. AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

For testing arrangement, turn rotary switch of deployment device to position Cable set plug, no. up to 6/93 Cable set plug, no. as of 7/93 Test scope Press: Keys Specified value: LED Possible causes for deviation from specified value
1     Internal battery test BATTERY Press BATTERY ON Replace any battery set for ignition device: 2 Baby cells (2 x 1.5 V)
Deployment device not connected Green malfunction indicator lamp ON
1 3+4 10+11 Actuation of driver side squib Press both pushbuttons 1. Before actuation

ON Trigger circuit is defective
