Lockup recognition, function - GF91.29-P-3007Q

MODELS 209.3 /4 with CODE (275c) electric adjustable driver seat, steering column and exterior mirrors with memory with CODE (242b) electric adjustable front passenger seat with memory 

Function 

One Hall sensor per transmission servo motor is located at the driver seat adjustment motor group with memory (M27) and the front passenger seat adjustment motor group with memory (M28).

If for a

• manual adjustment request via the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) or
• a memory adjustment request via the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) or
• a seat adjustment request via the easy entry function

from the front seat adjustment control module with memory and driver-side easy entry (N32/1) no change in the Hall pulse is determined, then this is deemed to be a lockup and the actuation of the driver seat adjustment motor group with memory (M27) is terminated.

Lockup detection of the front passenger's seat ensues in the front seat adjustment control module with memory and front passenger seat easy entry (N32/2). If for a

• manual adjustment request via the right door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S92/2) or
• a memory adjustment request via the right door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S92/2) or

no change in the Hall pulse is determined, then this is deemed to be a lockup and the actuation of the front passenger seat adjustment motor group with memory (M28) is terminated.

In the same direction of adjustment a renewed switch-on is not permitted until after the switch of the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) or the right door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S92/2) is released for 2.5 s. A restart in the opposite direction of adjustment is possible right away.
