Left door control unit, task - GF72.29-P-4122-01Q

The left door control unit (N69/1) has the following purpose:

Scanning the following switches:

Driver power window switch group (S20/1) (only left-hand drive vehicle)
Front passenger power window switch (S21/2) (only right-hand drive vehicle)
Left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) (on left-hand drive vehicles with code (275) Electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirrors with memory, on right-hand drive vehicles with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory)

Reading the following sensors:

Left front IR receiver (A26/1)

Model 209.3 Left-hand drive vehicle,

Model 209.3 Right-hand drive vehicle, except up to 31.5.04,

Model 209.3 Right-hand drive vehicle up to 31.8.06)
Hall sensors of left front power window motor (M10/3)
Potentiometer for adjustment motors for left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1)

Switching loads via semiconductor switches:

Left front power window motor (M10/3)
Left front door central locking motor (M14/6)
Automatic dimming mirror (M21/1h1) (on left-hand drive vehicles with code (249) Automatic dimming inside rearview mirror and outside mirror (driver))
Mirror up/down adjustment motor (M21/1m1)
Mirror in/out adjustment motor (M21/1m2)
Mirror fold-in motor (M21/1m3) (with code (500) Folding left/right outside mirrors)
Mirror heater (M21/1r1)
Left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
Entrance and exit lamp in left door (E17/3)
All switch and control lights are connected to left door control unit (N69/1)

Task, convenience closing via air recirculation (except vehicles as of model year 09/YoM 08 with code (494) USA version or code (460) Canada version)

By pressing the air recirculation switch (N22s2) (without code (581)

Comfort automatic air conditioning) or air recirculation switch (N22/7s2) (with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) for longer than 1.5, the convenience closing function is activated. The left door control unit (N69/1) stores the momentary position of the left side window and closes it in the automatic mode if it is open.

When the convenience closing function is completed and the recirculation air switch (N22s2) (without code (581) comfort automatic air conditioning) or recirculation air switch (N22/7s2) (with code (581) comfort automatic air conditioning) is pressed for longer than 1.5, the left side window is moved back to the stored position.

The left door control unit (N69/1) is connected to the interior CAN (CAN B) for exchanging data.
