Driver-side power window switch group, function - GF72.29-P-4112-02Q

Function

The switch positions of the

left front power window switch (S20/1s1),
right front power window switch (S20/1s2),
left rear power window switch (S20/1s3),
right rear power window switch (S20/1s4) and
rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5)

in the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) are voltage-coded via resistors. The coded voltage is read in by the left door control module (N69/1).

Mechanical positions

Center position Neutral
First detent (pull) Manual raising
Second detent (pull) Automatic raising (only for front side windows)
First detent (push) Manual lowering
Second detent (push) Automatic lowering (only for front side windows)

The rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5) has two mechanical positions:

Child safety lock "ON"
Child safety lock "OFF"
