Prepare headliner for installing Parktronic system warning display in rear - AR68.30-P-4300-04Q

Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable subsurface.
Place suitable clean spacers, e.g. foamed material or styrofoam pads below new headliner.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects, otherwise covering of new headliner (1) will be damaged.

The foamed material or styrofoam pads prevent the new headliner (1) from sagging when performing the following steps.
Route new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) parallel to main wiring harness (4)
The old headliner (1) serves as a template for routing the wiring harness.
Glue new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) onto new headliner with an approx. 10 cm long strip of adhesive tape at a distance of approx. 10 cm.
Do not overcross new Parktronic system wiring harness (2) and main wiring harness (4) and apply sufficient number of strips of tapes, otherwise a short circuit on the headliner can result from chafing.
