Partially install upper front longitudinal member - AR62.20-P-1287-03EW

  1. Apply 2-component adhesive on body in crosshatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

    IMPORTANT Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.

  2. Install upper front longitudinal member (1), fit with SPECIAL TOOL welding device and fix in place.

    IMPORTANT Use adapter on model 212, 218 SPECIAL TOOL .

  3. Weld in front upper longitudinal member (1) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas B and C).
  4. Upper front longitudinal member (1) SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area A).

    IMPORTANT Perform inert gas welding in intervals, allow to cool down in between to minimize heat distortion (area A).

  5. Clean weld joints on upper front longitudinal member (1).
  6. Remove shavings.
