| 4 | Unclip retaining bolts (4) and pull out | ||

| 6 | Remove retainer (7) from pin (8) | ||
| 7 | Pull out bolt (8) and remove hydraulic cylinder (1) from bracket (11). | ||
| 8 | Unclip soft top compartment lid locked limit switch (S84/23) from hydraulic cylinder (1) | ||
| 9 | Remove locking plate (9) from hydraulic lines (10) | On left side of vehicle. | |
| 10 | Pull hydraulic lines (10) out of hydraulic cylinder (1) | ||
| 11 | Remove all sealing rings from hydraulic lines (10) | ||
| 12 | Slide new sealing rings onto hydraulic lines (10) | ||
