Function 

The switch positions of the

• left front power window switch (S20/1s1),
• right front power window switch (S20/1s2),
• left rear power window switch (S20/1s3),
• right rear power window switch (S20/1s4) and
• rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5)

in the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) are voltage coded via resistors The coded voltage is read in by the left door control module (N69/1).

Mechanical positions 

• Center position Neutral
• First detent (pull) Manual raising
• Second detent (pull) Automatic raising (only for front side windows)
• First detent (push) Manual lowering
• Second detent (push) Automatic lowering (only for front side windows)

The rear side window child safety lock switch (S20/1s5) has two mechanical positions:

• Child safety lock "ON"
• Child safety lock "OFF"
