Preparation For Tests (Section 22)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 34 other vehicles, including the 2002 Mercedes-Benz E430, 2002 Mercedes-Benz E320, 2001 Mercedes-Benz E430, 2001 Mercedes-Benz E320, and 2000 Mercedes-Benz E430. NOTE: When exchanging an ETS/SPS control module, the replacement module must have the code data entered via the HHT. Follow instructions on the HHT.

Turn ignition OFF.
Disconnect ASR/SPS or ETS/SPS control module (N47-1 or N47-2).
Connect socket box (126 pole) with test cables as shown in connection diagram. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 .
