Damage code	Cause	Remedy
46 271 73	Short term voltage dip after starting vehicle.	Never replace the steering angle sensor or ESP control unit!
	AS / ESP indicator lamp comes on and DTC C1140 and/or C1504 stored with fault text "Steering angle sensor not initialized".	1 Erase fault code.
		If complaint reoccurs: ↓ 2 Check voltage in electrical system during starting procedure. The steering angle sensor is extremely sensitive to undervoltage voltage dips. For this reason, always use an oscilloscope (STAR Diagnosis test equipment) with very small time increments when measuring the voltage on the steering angle sensor.
